Loloku Restaurant
Singapore
Loloku is a new daytime hotspot in the center of Singapore’s historic Chinatown district. Opened in January 2017 by the minds behind Sunshine Nation and Marco Marco, Loloku is a lunchtime poke bowl and health food haven inspired by the beaches of Hawaii. Open all day with lunchtime options, mid-afternoon boosters and dinnertime choices, customers can either takeaway or sit at one of their outdoor communal tables.
Loloku is fun, quirky, tropical, fresh and feel-good. Palm trees, flamingoes and pineapples are symbols of the brand and space. Customers are encouraged to get funky and #Loku. With this relaxed and cheerful aesthetic, The Vibe Project knew exactly how to match the music with Singapore’s newest and coolest space.
We wanted customers to feel like they were in an endless summer: a Saturday pool party, BBQ’ing, splashing around in huge floaties and surrounded by friends. We created playlists for the lunchtime rush, afternoon reboots, dinnertime upswing and then into closing. The sounds of Loloku are ones of feel-good tropical house, happy electronic and chill wave, with a quirky splash here and there.
